There will be a docu-film being shot to share the great moments of travel, competition, friendship, pain, pleasure and entertainment since our inception in 1970. We will be seeking to capture the most impressive overall highlights of this 2010 World Karate Championship hosted by Purple Dragon.

Our aim is to have this film shown in as many countries and entered into several film festival competitions around the world, to help expose Trinidad and Tobago, and the hard work of competitors and officials. We would like as many people as possible to be a part of this history making docu-film. Stay tuned for the cues to pump you and prompt you as to when to give additional support  and cheer for your favorite teams. You can also register to participate in this docu-film .

Application: For those who would like to support this film on Friday 16th July, there will be a scene, which requires 1,000 students. Purple Dragon students will be called upon to demonstrate Block Routine 1 of the Don-Jitsu-Ryu System, and other supporters will demonstrate their techniques/ katas of their martial arts style. This scene will be shot on the water front next to the official tournament hotel, The Hyatt  from 8:00-8:45 am. (All Purple Dragon students must wear white gi/uniform, and non-Purple Dragon participants must also be their respective uniforms).

If you are interested please Register here. All our Martial Arts friends who are visiting us in Trinidad and Tobago are welcome to be part of the docu-film as supporting cast members

The tournament will then start promptly at 9am.
